WHO CAN APPLY?

Proposed protected structures (buildings that the Local Authority propose to include on this list)

Owners of eligible buildings can apply to the grant scheme. If you are unclear whether your structure is eligible under this scheme, contact Cavan County Council for clarification (contact information below).
All works must be planned and overseen by qualified and experienced conservation professionals. These conservation professionals may be able to assist you in your application. Applications must be accompanied by a Method Statement. Only one application will be considered per historic structure.

The total value grants provided for individual projects must not exceed 80% of the total project cost and is determined by the Local Authority on a case by case basis. Applicants will have to contribute at least 20% of the cost of the works (but in most instances this figure will be higher).
